Da bi se otkrila struktura mlazova unutar kome, koristi se <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyanogen.com\/help\/maximdl\/Rotational_Gradient.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;rotational gradient&#8221; filter<\/a> (Larson-Sekanina filter je jedna njegova verzija). Program <a href=\"http:\/\/www.astrosurf.com\/buil\/us\/iris\/iris.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iris<\/a> je jedini besplatni program koji ima mogu\u0107nost upotrebe rotational gradient filtera. Iako program nije ba\u0161 intuitivan, ovaj filter je lako koristiti i s njime eksperimentirati. Na stranicama postoji <a href=\"http:\/\/www.astrosurf.com\/buil\/iris\/tutorial19\/doc40_us.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tutorial<\/a> za obradu snimki kometa, a ovdje \u0107u opisati postupak koji sam ja koristio.<\/p>\n<p>Snimku kometa sam stackirao i obradio u <a href=\"http:\/\/deepskystacker.free.fr\/english\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DeepSkyStackeru<\/a>. Zatim, snimku sam croppao oko komete jer ostali dio fotografije i onako nije bitan. Croppana fotografija se u\u010dita u Irisu. Budu\u0107i da je Iris malo \u201cposeban\u201d potrebno je namjestiti \u201ctreshold\u201d prozor da se jasno vidi jezgra komete Taj prozor je vidljiv odmah nakon startanja programa i u\u010ditavanja snimke. Da bi se to\u010dno odredila jezgra komete, potrebno je pro\u010ditati vrijednosti u prozoru \u201doutput\u201d &#8211; meni \u201danalysis\u201d -&gt; \u201cdisplay data\u201d. Kada se klikne na dio za koji se smatra da je jezgra dobiju se podaci o x i y koordinatama te intenzitetu (sjaj). Potrebno je prona\u0107i to\u010dku gdje je taj intenzitet najve\u0107i &#8211; na tom jestu se najvjerojatnije nalazi jezgra.<\/p>\n<p>U\u00a0meniju\u00a0&#8220;processing&#8221;\u00a0na dnu se nalazi\u00a0opcija &#8220;rotational gradient&#8221; gdje je potrebno upisati koordinate sredi\u0161ta i kut rotacije. Sa kutom rotacije se treba poigrati dok ne dobijemo smisleni rezultat. U mom slu\u010daju to je bio kut od 22 stupnja.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Rotational gradient u Irisu\" href=\"http:\/\/www.astrobobo.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/rotational_gradient.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.astrobobo.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/rotational_gradient.jpg\" alt=\"Rotational gradient u Irisu\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Na\u00a0mojoj\u00a0snimci\u00a0nema\u00a0ba\u0161\u00a0previ\u0161e\u00a0detalja,\u00a0no\u00a0ipak\u00a0se\u00a0vidi\u00a0par\u00a0mlazova, a do izra\u017eaja je do\u0161ao vanjski omota\u010d koji je s lijeve strane zgusnutiji, a desno u smjeru erupcije difuzniji.
