Snimku Cocoon Nebule napravio sam jo\u0161 2014. na radionici astrofotografije u Korenici. Od tada nikako nisam uspjevao napraviti dovoljno dobru obradu. Naime, vidno polje je prepuno zvijezda koje nakon obrade jednostavno preuzmu cijelu fotografiju pa maglica ne dolazi dovoljno do izra\u017eaja. S novim verzijama PixInsighta sam i vi\u0161e truda posvetio obradi. Tako je i Cocoon do\u0161la na red. Uz hrpu maski i vi\u0161esatnog isprobavanja uspio sam smanjiti zvijezde i dobiti izra\u017eajnu tamnu maglicu koja okru\u017euje Cocoon.<\/p>\n

Snimka se sastoji od ukupno 2.5 sati ekspozicije. 6×10 min kroz luminance filter i po 6×5 min kroz RGB filtere. SBIG STL-11000 CCD kamera i Pentax 1005 SDP apo refraktor. Spikeovi na sjajnim zvijezdama dodani su pluginom Star Spikes PRO u Photoshopu.<\/p>\n
